More than a Tea Party
I love to read. I also love to write. Who does not like to influence? I am all for living! To that end, I would like to kick-start a book review series starting this month. The idea behind is simple, we pick a book, read and then debate, discuss and talk about it here on the first Thursday of the following month.
To participate read the book, write about your thoughts on the book on your blog, send me an email at lakshmusings[at]gmail[dot]com with your post permalink, blog name and your name before the first Thursday of each month. The following Monday I will compile all the links into one post and post it out for those who want to read through debate or enjoy the differing perspectives.
This month I would like to pick Eat, Pray and Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Thanks Akay for the awesome idea!

Wanted to scream great idea (but that make me a narcissist, won’t it?
). Thanks for agreeing to this idea and assimilating it in your own unique way. Count me in (less work, as I have already read the book :-P).
In terms of book suggestions, how about The Kite Runner, Three Cups of Tea, The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime.

I like this idea Laksh. Generally, between work and other aspects of life, my reading takes a hit. The exercise should help me get focussed. Let’s see.

Like Suman said, my reading has taken a back seat all these months. Hopefully with this I will start paying attention to my first love 
I would participate if the criteria is to complete 1 chapter rather than the whole book..hee hee..in so many years, I have not been able to read more than a chapter of any book..girls, u go with it!
Great idea! I would love to be a part of it, maybe by your third month, I will… tied up and busy until June:)
